Postdoctoral Fellowship in Digital Agriculture / Crop and Soil Sensing

The position:
CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellows work closely with leading Research Scientists and carry out innovative, impactful research of strategic importance.  They present findings in appropriate publications and at conferences.
The Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital Agriculture/Crop and Soil Sensing with CSIRO Agriculture and Food, will deliver to the Intelligent Sensing Project, part of the Future Farm Initiative, part-funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). The project will link closely with two other projects within the Future Farm Initiative – ‘Intelligent Decisions’ and ‘Intelligent Infrastructure – Automation and Robotics’. The project will focus on the role of sensors for improving farmer nitrogen fertilizer decisions when using Precision Agriculture approaches.
In this highly collaborative role, you will join a team comprising researchers from CSIRO, the University of Sydney, the University of Southern Queensland and Agriculture Victoria.
